Use this form if you think:

- Lien deadline is approaching

- Collection may be difficult on your project.

- Customer has not responded to your payment demands.

- Customer is MIA.

- Customer's insurance carrier is delaying payment. 

- You haven't been paid in full.

Typically, a Notice of Intent to Lien grabs the attention of the property owner. Use this form to gain leverage and hopefully avoid the expense of having to file a Lien.  

 

DO NOT USE THIS FORM IN LIEU OF FILING A LIEN.

Use this form if you:

- You have been paid in full.

- Customer has satisfied its payment. 

- Court orders you to do so.

This form is typically sent out by a subcontractor, sub-subcontractor, laborer, or material supplier.

​

Failing to send a Notice of Furnishing does not defeat your lien rights, but may impact the amount you can recover under your Lien.
